The exhibition “Treasures of Nukus” in Moscow has been extended till the 31st of May, 2017

      The exhibition “Treasures of  Nukus” from the collection of the State Museum of  Arts  of  Republic of  Karakalpakstan  named  after I.Savitsky  is being held at the Pushkin State  Museum of  Fine Arts  where  233 works of fine and applied arts and artefacts of archaeology are represented. We can proudly say that at Russian part’s request, the exhibition has been extended till the 31st of May 2017.

       We are glad to tell the citizens and guests of our country that the current exposition of the museum was rearranged with the artworks of  Uzbek and Russian painters  of  the XXth century. It should be noted that some of the exhibits are displayed for the first time.
        The best artworks of Central Asian and Russian avant-garde painters distinguished by high artistic skills have been selected for the new exposition. For example, the below stated painters’ artworks are on display: “Cotton picking”, “Red caravan” by A.Volkov, “Kazakh woman”, “Apple picking”, “Khodjikent”, “Heat” by U. Tansykbaev, “Steep street”, “Crimson autumn” by V.Ufimtsev, “Self -portrait”, “Tailors” by E.Korovay, “Double portrait”, “Cityscape” by R.Falk, “Migration” by R.Mazel, “Portrait of woman”, “Portrait of  girl in a green blouse” by A.Sofronova, “House in the outskirts”, “A  throughway yard behind the outpost” by B.Rybchenkov, “Morning” by S.Luppov  and “Portrait of M.Sokolov” by A.Shugrin.
